The Old Town Hall

Built near Church Plain in 1870, this red brick, gabled, Victorian public building was the venue for the Town Council, Magistrate's Court, social functions and public entertainment.

In more recent years an indoor bowls club, a hairdresser and other businesses have made use of the premises.

In 1998 it was purchased by the Loddon Buildings Preservation Trust and, after some restorative work, houses the Loddon Information and Tourist Centre.
